The WARRIORS single is still in the process of being mixed, and would be released after EVOLUTION.
We hope to have clips up at the music page soon, and we will update you about which stations have the record initially. There are also possible plans for a video to be shot as an accompanyment to one of the tracks. Again the logistics are being worked out.

NOVEMBER 2005
There will be new recordings made in the new year. Kruze said:
"This year's been a bit disruptive at a personal level with, among other things, the death of my mother and also a close friend, and so its affected the music side. It's taken me a while to get back into things and get the two Underground Cartel singles mixed and ready for manufacturing. However, I only got one of the singles left to mix, then in a recording sense, Im gonna concentrate solely on BELLES IN MONICA. I've been sitting on new material for a while, but not had the chance to develop it and get it into the studio, but I got the hunger back, and I really cant wait to get workin with Dema & Red again. I only just spoke with Dema on the phone a week back, and realised it was the first time for many months since we'd spoken. He's doin really well with all his different clubs and I know Red's gettin some personal stuff cleared up that's been a problem for a while, so hopefully 2006 we're all gonna have our heads back together and create somethin new and exciting. Im also thinking on doing a one-off solo record working with a couple of guest artists I got in mind, but I wanna get the BELLES' heart beatin first, cos it's time to start messin with peeps' heads again! The public's gettin off too lightly with all this bling nonsense Ive been hearin. There could be carnage!!!"
Meantime, watch out for BIM material being used on the new tv series of Rad and in a new surf dvd Rip Curl being distributed worldwide
DJ Dema has been continuing to host some big nites at his Glasgow clubs (see EVENTS) as well as working on some solo material. Freakmenoovers have also been touring around the country playing a number of high profile dates and gettin the rep as one of the best hiphop dj dous in the country.

UNDERGROUND CARTEL
BELLES IN MONICA
URBANELITE PRODUCTIONS
Underground Cartel is the latest artist on the New Dawn label. It is an international collaboration put together by Kruze. It will be an ever changing entity from record to record designed to pool together the talents of quality underground emcees and producers from around the world, with the product released globally. The first 12" DROPZONE EP is due for international in May 2004 and represents the UK, France, USA & Canada, produced by Kruze with the exception of a track remixed by New York's Musik G of the Underground Army. Kruze handpicked those involved having heard the artists' own material from submissions given to the UrbanElite team who have played a massive role in putting this together.
This has been made possible by the goodwill & positive attitude of all those involved, with the goal being to hilight the talents that exist in every corner of the globe TO every corner of the globe. UC belongs to all those involved, whether in the past, present or the future....their contributions will live on in memorium. Real quality hiphop with integrity exists in every country, and all these artists face similar problems in gaining the publicity they deserve, due to the over saturation of hi-profile artists in the media who have the financial backing to buy their way onto mainstream airwaves and tv stations. So this is just the beginning....at a time when underground hiphop is growing globally, and with the u/g coming together, Underground Cartel represents the spirit that exists internationally.
Contributors to the Dropzone EP include:
FROM THE STATES
8.bliss.....at the time living in San Francisco, now based in New York, he also runs Omnipresent Records.
Orphan Fam, hailing from Bayonne, New Jersey, this crew include Baby Shay, Big Brother Al and La Roka
Crazy Ballhead.....a top quality emcee representin Sacramento
Raw Dialect.....an extensive crew, and in this instance represented by Tone, Danjah & RBI. Based in the Baltimore area, and about to move the game on overseas in their own right.
Musik G.....the legend from Queens...has been around for years and has performed with some of the biggest acts in hiphop, now with the Underground Army and remixed one of the tracks
Swiss Precise....an all rounder, graff artists, producer, emcee....based in Long Beach, performs with Halfway House Emcees, Discreet Merchants, Blown Celebs & many others. In this case, designed the UC logo in his capacity within the KBH crew
From Canada
Ill Seer...of the reputed Delegates of Culture, well known on the Canadian Underground and not his first venture overseas
Fritz tha Cat....artist management, journo for Viceland and a quality emcee all rolled into one
Mindbender....one of Canada's "visionaries"...from the Supreme Being Unit clan, known for his philosophical rhymin and intense lyrics
Selfhelp....another well known emcee on the Canadian underground, with many other guest appearances....has an off the wall approach to rhymin & life which makes for some unique lyrics
.....thanks also to Handsolo Records for their hook-ups
From France
Beni from Originaire du Sud in Montpellier, France. An excellent emcee, in French naturellment, just starting to get his name known in the French underground circuit...one of the largest anywhere in the world
NOW IN 2005
A new set of tracks have been recorded for two singles releases. The singles are called EVOLUTION & WARRIORS and each single has 3 brand new trax. The net was spread even further afield to bring in new emcees from more countries. Magellan represents the very healthy scene taking place in Croatia, with back up from fellow eastern Europeans Maslinaz from Bulgaria and Kondamnatu from Romania, able assisted by his boy JZA originally from Mexico. A little further west in Italy comes Primo from "Primo e Squarta" outta Rome, part of the whole Corveleno movement, and from the north near Milan, the mic is blessed by female mc Marya.
Moving a little further north into Germany comes the vocal talents of Boogieblast's German MC Grizu, sharing the verse with Dutch MC and event co-ordinator Bleekwonder from Holland. Beni from France makes a welcome reappearance, while Madrid's El meswy, now resident in Brooklyn, brings some quality raps Espanol, Meswy having already been featured in Source Magazine. A bit more representation this time from ol Blighty with some serious UK skillz on display from London's Creamo and T-Minus, while "the north" gets in on the act via Manchester's Mr CRF who may be known to you via his magazine cbmag.co.uk
Back over the Atlantic, we got Dumi Right, originally from Zimbabwe now in VA and La Navie, reppin Cuba and livin in Florida. Back up to VA, the supreme skills of Strong Quality's Black Market, matched by those of Des Moines' new kid Brandon J Atlas and New York's Lockness, the 3rd female emcee invloved (with La Navie & Marya) and nominee for the UMA 2004. The Yukonn MC outta Boston, part of My Mans n Them and countless other collabos, and brought into the fold by Long Beach's Swiss Precise, not just logo designer, but this time with mic duties. You'll know Swiss from graf's KBH crew, clothes line Coast II Coast, and crews including Halfway House Emcees, Blown Celebs, Discreet Merchants and many more...and all these cats are gettin put in touch with the original contributors so that knowledge & connects can be shared in the Underground Cartel spirit of positivity on a global scale.
BELLES IN MONICA
Glasgow born rapper & producer KRUZE had been recording demos since the early 1990's, one of which got played on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show in '93. He was looking to get a crew together, but unlike now, hiphop deejays & artists were few and far between in the city back then. However, he hooked up with guitarist RED around 1997, and with a basic set, put together a live band, as he says "just to get it out there"
This "live" band came to be known as belles in monica
While continuing to record demos and play live all round the UK, albeit mainly in Scotland, Glasgow's NEW DAWN RECORDS picked up on them around 1998 and put a 4 year plan to them to allow development. Kruze got in touch with the emerging DJ Dema who was running one of the few hiphop clubs in the city at the time, with a view to him performing on the album. Kruze decided to reconstruct the BIM set up, and now the core members are Kruze, Red & Dema. A session singer Cherelle performs on the album. The album Resistance is Futile was written and recorded over a 2 year period and NDR arranged for remixes of 3 singles to be done by some of the UK's finest hiphop dj's and producers.
By December 2001 a full release schedule was in place and belles in monica were about to be unleashed onto the unsuspecting public.....
URBANELITE PRODUCTIONS, is a production & promotion arm which accomodates sponsorship of live events (such as Dema's club Freakmoves on occassion), acts as an information channel for the label in terms of research, and also has a specific music production area which, among others, includes BIM's Kruze. In a longer term sense, they would look to become involved in visual arts, but in many ways, their primary function is to bring different talents together from different areas to further the potential of everyone involved......bringing the required people together to record the album and to arrange for remixes was their responsibility. They are currently arranging for remixes to be brought in for their artists to work on....it is also a flexible arrangement, with artists coming & going as they please, both parties having benefited from working together....their email address is quoted within the NEWS page.......... Urbanelite are also responsible for maintaining this website with all the information provided, reviewing submissions & also now overseas artist promotion.
